Oculus Rift gets more support with Unreal Engine 4
The Oculus Rift has just had a big developer join their ranks as Unreal has just announced support for the device. Their latest engine, Unreal Engine 4 will be able to be integrated with the viewing device so current and future developers can have their games work with the immersive peripheral.
The device already has support from major developers like Valve and with more DevKits going out each week, more and more indie developers will be working on the product in the near future. Not to mention support from Doom’s John Carmack, Day Z’s Dean Hall and Epic Game’s Cliff Bleszinski. The future of games is looking fairly real and strapped to your head.
After last week’s tragedy, it’s always good to report on great news for the Oculus Rift.
