OCZ has launched the Deneva Series of SSDs, targeting small businesses and large
enterprises. The 1.8” SSDs, available in capacities of 50Gb to 400Gb capacities,
feature a SandForce SF-1500 controller, SATA II interfaces, 4Kb random
writes up to 50,000 IOPS, MLC/ eMLC NAND flash memory, improved
dependability with supercap, high MTBF, superior encryption, ECC
protection, and support data transfer speeds up to 285Mb/s (reads) and
275Mb/s (write). They are also available in various interfaces (SATA,
SAS, FC, PCIe) and form factors (1.8″, 3.5″, etc.), allowing businesses
flexibility and various options to choose from. Pricings and
availability has not been announced yet so stay tuned for more updates.
