The 1TB model was announced at the time of OCZ's Octane series launch back in October of last year, but had been yet to make its arrival to the masses.

Using the Indilinx Everest controller, the drive uses 25nm MLC NAND flash along with 512MB of DRAM cache and provides read and write rates of up to 460MB/sec and 330MB/sec respectively. 4K random access performance is rated at up to 24,000 read and 32,000 write IOPS.

Pricing hasn't yet been revealed, but those serious enough to be wanting one of these won't be too bothered by the inevitably steep tag. The OCT1-25SAT3-1T is slated for release around the middle of this month.
