A fan was placed directly over
the RAMs in first tests. The fan used was Silverstone FM122 at highest RPM.  

CL 3-3-3-X

In order to stabilize this pair
of Memory at

400MHz @ CL 3-3-3-5, I had to run Memory
Voltage as high as 2.4v.


 

5MHz more stable warranted a
0.05v increase:


The clock speed gained under
CL3-3-3-5 were pretty consistent with the additional voltage of 0.05v. From the
results below, we can see that in order to increase 5MHz more, I need to
increase the voltage by 0.05v. The clock speed ended at 455MHz for CL3-3-3-5
with ‘reasonable’ but over-spec voltage of 2.65v.
