OCZ Technology Group, renowned manufacturer of solid state drives (SSD), power supplies and memory modules for computers, has recently unveiled their latest and fastest SSD solutions to date at the Consumer Electronics Show this year at Las Vegas. Among the new products showcased include Vertex 3 Pro SSD, Z-Drive R3 PCI-Express SSD, as well as their 80-Plus Gold Efficiency rated ZX series power supplies.

Vertex 3 Pro SSD

OCZ has finally ended their silence over their new Vertex series Solid State Drives. The company has showcased their new Vertex 3 Pro SSD at CES, which is based upon the next generation SandForce SF-2000 controller. The Vertex 3 Pro SSD features a SATA 6Gbps interface, and makes use of MLC Flash Memory. With rated read speeds of up to 550MB/s, it is no wonder that this SSD makes use of such high speed SATA connection.

Designed to cater to the demands of the ever-expanding enterprise market, the newest Z-Drive R3 PCI-E SSD is based on a SandForce controller, and will be the company’s first ever SandForce Controller based PCI-E SSD which is used for Tier-0/1 data applications. This PCI-E SSD is expected to offer amazing performance at over 1GB/s rated read speeds, 135,000 IOPS, and up to 1.2 Terabytes of capacity.

ZX Series 80-Plus Gold Efficiency Power Supplies
