We received the Vertex 4 inside a small cardboard box, more than capable of protecting the lightweight drive during transport. The artwork on the box is minimalistic, based on a dark theme and a picture of the drive itself.
Inside the box everything is well packed and secured inside a polyurethane foam shell. The drive itself is also wrapped inside an antistatic bag.
Much as the case is with most SSD drives, the items bundled with the Vertex 4 are limited to a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter and mounting screws. OCZ also includes a large case/frame sticker boasting that "My (Vertex 4) SSD is faster than your HDD". While the Vertex 4 definitely is much faster than any mechanical HDD ever to hit the retail market, we will soon see if it can keep boasting while opposing rivaling SSD solutions.
