Many iPhone 5 users have been awaiting the release of an untethered jailbreak, but that wait won’t last much longer as team Evad3rs has announced the release date for a working untethered jailbreak.

An official iPhone 5 untethered jailbreak, courtesy of the Evad3rs team, has been announced.  After a week of speculation about whether or not we’ll see an official release from team Evad3rs, planetbeing has confirmed on Twitter that the jailbreak will be available tomorrow.

Evad3rs’ jailbreaking tool will work with iPod Touch, iPad, iPad mini, and iPhones running iOS 6/6.01/6.02/6.1.  This jailbreak, of course, is special because it is the first tool that will allow many fourth gen iPad and iPhone 5 owners to do what they have wanted to do since they purchased their devices.
