(Windows Team Blog) Amid speculations and discussions all over the web, it is official now - Windows 7 RC will get a public release on 5th May this year. MSDN and Technet subscribers, however, will get a slightly earlier release - 30th April

(Windows Team Blog) Amid speculations and discussions all over the web, it is official now - Windows 7 RC will get a public release on 5th May this year.

MSDN and Technet subscribers, however, will get a slightly earlier release - 30th April.

Also, according to Engadget, Windows 7 will have a virtualized Windows XP SP3 available for free to Professional and Ultimate versions of Windows 7. The credibility of the source is however, yet to be determined but definitely a great plus if it is true.
