This afternoon, Panasonic Singapore announced their latest G3 and GF3 interchangeable lens system cameras. VR-Zone was one of the media to have the opportunity to check out the new offerings. Read on.
The Panasonic G3 claims to feature the world?s fastest light speed auto focus and new 16-megapixel LIVE MOS sensor that lets users shoot high quality images in low-lighting conditions with a high ISO sensitivity. With the free-angle Intelligent 3-inch LCD display, you can take pictures at almost any angle.
At the rear of the G3 holds the viewfinder as well as various controls including camera menu, burst mode, timer, white balance, ISO, display, playback and video recording..
The AV out/Digital, HDMI and remote connectors are conveniently located under the flap on the right, while the camera's flash button on the left of the viewfinder will pop out the unit's built-in flash. The G3 can also record videos at full high definition 1920×1080 resolution in AVCHD format.
The Panasonic GF2 was launched earlier this year, and the company has announced the new GF3. However, do note that the GF3 is designed to be a lower end model with a form factor that is slightly smaller. It also features a built-in flash that pops out in a protruding manner for illuminating a dark situation, which also means you can't attach an external flash unit.
The rear holds a 3-inch touch display, the playback button, a wheel dial that makes it easy to cycle through the camera options, as well as other controls such as the exposure, burst mode, timer and white balance.
Like the G3, the GF3 comes with a AV out/Digital and HDMI connectors, except the Remote. The battery and SD memory card compartment are at the base of the camera.
