Patriot To Release Pyro-Series SSD

Patriot will be releasing the Pyro-series SSD which will be using the SandForce SF-2281 controller.
The Pyro-series SSD will feature the SandForce SF-2281 controller, multi level cell NAND flash memory and SATA 6Gbps interface. The SSD will be available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities.
The 120GB and 240GB models will allow a maximum sequential read speed of 550MB/s, write speed of 515MB/s and 85,000 IOPS. The 60GB SSD will only offer a maximum sequential read speed of 520MB/s, write speed of 490MB/s and 80,000 IOPS.
