Patriot Memory has unveiled its Inferno SSD series, targeting hardcore enthusiasts.


Encased in an aluminum housing, the 2.5” Inferno SSD is built on the SandForce SF-1222 SSD controller and features MLC NAND flash memory, SandForce DuraClass™ technology*, a SATA II interface, TRIM support, a MTBF of 1,500,000 hours, and data transfer speeds of up to 285Mb/s (read) and 275Mb/s (write). Available in capacities of 100Gb and 200Gb, the Inferno SSDs are backed by a five year warranty and bundled with 2.5” to 3.5” adapters. They can be purchased from authorized retailers, e-tailers and distributors at a MSRP of USD 369.00 (100Gb) USD 719.00 (200Gb).
