The annual PC Show 2010 took off at Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore today, with a huge turn out even before the 12 noon show time. Seems like the public has been eagerly anticipating the new bargains that would be offered on the tech gadgets and other products.
This year’s PC Show 2010 occupies the level 3, Hall 4 and Hall 6. Apple premium reseller, epiCentre, has a booth on the third floor. While you won’t find the Apple iPad tablet product here, you do have other choices of accessories to equip your iPhone with. And because of the International Conference on Emergency Medicine that is held at the same time, the conference and exhibition took over the level 3 foyer, which was usually occupied by Sony. Nevertheless, you will still find Sony in Hall 4.
During our tour of the show, we also noticed many vendors who are not participating in this PC Show, including Nikon and Panasonic.
Sony has a prominent spot at the show, with a lot of focus on their VAIO laptop and camera products. One of the value buy is the 14-inch WXGA VAIO VPCEA15FG that is equipped with intel Core i3-330M, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, 320GB HDD and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. All for an attractive S$1,399 (U.P. S$1,499).
Samsung has a few booths in Hall 4, with the largest one just beside the Sony booth. Check out the laptops, digital cameras, mobile phones and even displays.
Like this 40-inch Samsung LA40C530 Full HD LCD TV with USB movie, it is retailing at S$949 and comes with free DVD player (U.P. S$1,399). Good buy?
