The full PC specs for Deep Silver's anticipated sequel in the Metro franchise have recently come to light, allowing gamers to pre-determine if their computer will run the game.

Deep Silver has recently unveiled the full PC requirements for Metro: Last Light, the upcoming sequel to Metro 2033–the post-apocalyptic shooter based on the sci-fi novel written by Dmitry Glukhovsky–that has been anticipated for some time now.

The spec sheet gives players a heads-up to the official requirements of the game, allowing them to prepare their gaming rigs and to see beforehand if the game will run on their PC.

Metro 2034 PC specs revealed for Metro: Last Light

Metro: Last Light takes players back to the post-apocalyptic ruins of Moscow, where humanity has been forced to live in underground tunnels to survive. Life is bleak, and the world is riddled with dangers including the very environment that's teeming with mutants born from the toxic atmosphere as well as enemy factions that vie for control of essential resources. 

As Artyom, a heroic ranger who has brought salvation to the last vestige of humanity, players must delve deep into the wasteland to combat merciless foes and stop their search for a destructive doomsday device that could very well wipe out the city's inhabitants.

In Metro: Last Light, Artyom must once again deliver his people into salvation and become the last light for all of humanity.

The game's plot was also penned by Dmitry Glukhovsky, the creator and author of the original novels, and features many crossovers from the books. Additionally his latest book in the series, Metro 2035, will be available this year, and MGM has recently purchased the rights for a feature-length film based in the Metro franchise.

Metro: Last Light is slated for release on May 14, 2013 in North America and May 17, 2013 across Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
