Usman Qureshi, Customer Marketing Manager for Philips Electronics Singapore, Consumer Lifestyle, says that the company did well for the audio/video products including being a market leader for soundbar systems.

"Philips is going to focus on LED, and not LCD this year. There are two main reasons for that. One, we believe that LED is going to be next generation technology and thus we are going to do whatever we can to grow that particular segment; the second thing is that the eco-friendliness of LED has already proven and you get lower power consumption, which is good for the consumers," says Qureshi.
