In recent years, “social marketing” is a new field that marketers are studying and looking into, and many marketers are trying to exercise social marketing tactics, expecting to drive it to success. Being the leading manufacturer in memory products, Kingston today announces the launch of the “Challenge Your Memory” game on leading social media sites, including Facebook and funP.com, which shows the fact that Kingston is the first memory brand to leverage the power of social media. Kingston’s “Challenge Your Memory” game (http://funp.com/apps/kingston/) is currently available in English and Traditional Chinese and participants can choose the preferred version on the upper-right hand corner by scrolling the menu bar.
Kingston’s “Challenge Your Memory” game is a card game to test the participants’ memory. In the game, Kingston’s redhead logo, Rex, will request participants to point out the position/positions of one product within limited time. The concept is to provide an exciting and interesting platform for consumers to get closer to Kingston’s new products. The game functions as a product showroom. There are three difficulty levels for participants to choose, including 3×3, 4×4, and 5×5. Multiple entries are allowed. The first 30 participants with highest score (the shortest time spent during the game) will be awarded by Kingston with prizes. Kingston will announce the prize winners on Kingston Blog (http://www.kingston-blog.com/) on the 5th day of every month. For the entries submitted on funP, only the Taiwan residents are eligible to claim prizes, while for the entries submitted on Facebook, prizes will be only delivered to addresses within APAC region, excluding China.
