PRADA renews collaboration with LG; teaser image of PRADA phone by LG 3.0 released

Today, PRADA and LG have announced the renewal of their exclusive mobile phone collaboration at a signing ceremony in Seoul, Korea. Both companies will develop the PRADA phone by LG 3.0 which is scheduled for launch early next year 2012. Apparently, a teaser image of the new phone has been released.

PRADA and LG collaboration started in 2006 and the companies introduced two premium mobile phones in 2007 and 2008 that focus on key elements, including software, user interface down to its design and packaging. The PRADA phone by LG 1.0 claims to be the world’s first touchscreen mobile phone, while the 2.0 provided innovative mobile experience through its unique watch with Link technology, which offers easy access to caller ID, SMS text messages, call history, call block and two-way alarm notification.

Today, the two companies are renewing their exclusive mobile phone partnership and that LG will be PRADA’s exclusive mobile phone partner. PRADA and LG will also develop the third PRADA phone by LG 3.0 which is scheduled for launch early next year 2012. According to online sources, the PRADA phone by LG 3.0 (or LG Prada K2) could sport a 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen display with NOVA display technology that offers over 1000 nits brightness. It is likely to be powered by a dual-core processor, supports HSPA+ connectivity, and features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash that is also capable of 1080p full high definition video recording.

And while the actual product photo is not available, a teaser picture has been released.
