TGS 2013 Prepare for TGS 2013 with Sonys livestream and show schedule

This year’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2013) will undoubtedly be a show to remember: the venue is one of the last battlegrounds for the next-gen war between Sony and Microsoft. Sony, who will be on their home turf, has the home advantage over Microsoft, and it might just be enough to sway the crowd.

Even so, thousands of gamers and journalists from all around the world will attend the event to be wowed with new announcements, game trailers, and of course some hands-on action with the hottest titles across the next-gen spectrum.

The international show is being held from Sept. 19-22, and Sony has revealed their livestream schedule for those who can’t attend:

PS4 controller Prepare for TGS 2013 with Sonys livestream and show schedule

Recent reports have also indicated that the Japanese gaming giant will showcase a PS4-branded VR headset during TGS 2013, however the device was noticeably absent from Sony’s pre-TGS press conference.

The pre-show conference saw the unveiling of the PS Vita TV, a nifty little micro-console that allows gamers to play PS Vita games on their television as well as affords for PS4 functions like remote play and even duals as an entertainment streaming device.

The event itself may lead to Sony shedding light on some new PS4 features, as the company might have been holding back something good for their final strike. Along with the line-up of games and the possibility of some hidden treasures being announced, Sony’s presence at TGS 2013 will undoubtedly be an interesting measure of the company’s stake in the next-gen war.
