Fudzilla has managed to dig out preliminary pricing for two of AMD's upcoming A-series APUs, the A6-3650 and A8-3850. AMD plans to undercut Intel in a bid to win more enthusiasts over to its side.
The quad-core A6-3650, which is clocked at 2.6GHz and features a HD 6530D integrated GPU, will supposedly retail for as low as US$126. In contrast, Intel's dual-core i3-2100 processor is currently going for US$117. The more expensive A8-3850 APU, which also features four processor cores clocked at 2.9GHz and a HD 6550D GPU, will reportedly be offered at US$150. This is only slightly more expensive than Intel's dual-core i3-2120 processor, which is currently retailing at US$138.
