Prima Games has released an interactive map app for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the iPad and iPhone

The company is behind the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Prima Official Game Guide, but this latest offering provides an official, Bethesda-approved app with over 150 maps of Skyrim locations.

All primary and secondary locations are marked, as are points of interest, world encounters, vendors, trainers, and unique items. This includes all nine major hold cities and the more obscure terrain of forests and mountains.

“Since work on this set of guides began in early May, I always knew we were planning on releasing something truly epic," said David Hodgson, author of the Prima guide for Skryim. “I’ve personally logged over 600 hours of exploration, and with the help and support from Bethesda, we’ve managed to create the most informative and detailed work I’ve ever been a part of.”

The basic version of the app, which shows the nine hold capital city locations, is free. Players who want to find the other locations and points of interest can do so with in-app purchases.
