Canon has launched a free Easy-Photo-Print application for the Apple iPhone, making it easier to enjoy and share photos with family and friends.  Available now on the App store, the Canon Easy-Photo-Print App enables easy wireless photo printing from an iPhone or iPod Touch to compatible Canon PIXMA printers via a wireless network.

The Canon Easy-Photo-Print app is free and available at the App Store on iPhone and iPod Touch or via the iTunes application.

The new application works in sync with current Canon wireless PIXMA photo printers including the PIXMA MP996, MP648 and MP568. These printers, with built-in WiFi capabilities, provide users with a range of options to accommodate their printing needs – including print, copy, scan and now direct WiFi printing from compatible Apple devices.

All upcoming wireless PIXMA photo printers to be launched in 2010 will be compatible with this application.
 
Users can choose to print their photos from a wide selection of six paper types from plain to glossy photo paper; in four paper sizes from A4-size to as large as 8 x 11 inches.  In addition, the application allows users to print up to 20 copies at one go to a compatible Canon printer.
