Product Launch: HTC Desire Android smartphone

VR-Zone was invited to the launch event of the 1GHz Snapdragon-touting HTC Desire, held on the 14th of May at the Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore.

More pictures and the press release after the break.

HTC’s Product Marketing Manager of South East Asia, Mr Wayne Tang, took us through a well-prepared presentation of the HTC Desire.

After talking about the phone itself, HTC Sense UI and the HTC Sense widgets, Mr Tang demonstrated the Desire’s pinch to zoom feature, where text will automatically reflow so that the user does not need to pan left or right.

Besides the dummy sets on display, there were plenty of working HTC Desire units for the media to try out.

The press release to follow on the next page.
