Taiwan based Prolimatech is readying its Samuel 17 Low Profile CPU Cooler for release.


Aimed at HTPC enthuasists and users of compact cases, the low profile cooler is interestingly named after the Old Testament chapter in which David knocked down Goliath with a single stone from a sling and killed him with Goliath's own sword. Measuring 92 x 45 x 82 mm and weighing 410g, the nickel plated cooler has six 6mm copper heat-pipes, a copper base, aluminum fins, and supports up to one 120mm fans. It is fully compatible with all Intel LGA 775/ 1156/ 1366 and AMD AM2/ AM2+/ AM3 processors. The Samuel 17 is expected to hit store shelves come end May at a MSRP of 40 Euro.
