PS3 3D Firmware Update Coming Soon

We know this is coming but how soon, apparently Pocket-lint had a recent interview with John Koller, the director of hardware marketing for SCEA on the console's future. 3D firmware is indeed due in a months time. 3D will perhaps be the next big thing in 2010, we have seen gadget reviews, news and all the hoo-haa about 3D and in cinemas as well.

In the months to come, a firmware update release for the PS3 will turn it into a fully-fledged, stereoscopic 3D-capable games platform, not to mention separate updates also due that will bring support for 3D Blu-ray. Integrating it with the motion controlling technology, we have a rough impression how things might go in the future.

Are you excited about all this 3D hoo-haa ?
