PS3 Firmware 3.30 Adds Remote Play and Bitstream Audio Options
Sony Playstation UK have announced more on firmware 3.30. Looks like it is not just about stereoscopic gaming and trophy management.

The new firmware will include a option for Bitstream Direct or Mix (sound effects such as button sounds converted to bitstream format) on Blu-ray movies.

Future VAIO PC (selected models) owners will also have the support to perform Remote Play on their Playstation 3. You can now select [PC] as an option under [Remote Play Settings] > [Register Device].

The new firmware is available now.

Lastly, perhaps this is me but browsing experience seems a tiny different in firmware 3.30.
