PSN is (finally) coming back online

Reported by on Sunday, May 15 2011 4:26 pm

After almost a full month of waiting, PSN users will soon have their network back online - at least that is what Sony claims via their blog and facebook pages. To access the network, users are required to both upgrade their firmware and change their password. Stay tuned for one of the most legendary network boots in history, the success of which hopefully will not be compared to that of Skynet in "Terminator 3 : Rise of the Machines".

"Please note that these services will take a bit of time to be turned on and rolled out to the whole region. The process has begun and some countries are being turned on now, so please be patient as we reach you.", Sony says but the company does not share which regions will be served first and how much time the complete restoration of the PSN network requires.
