PSU Review – Club 3D CSP-X1000CB 1000W

After cracking the chassis of the CSP-X1000CB open we could easily recognize the OEM of this power supply; this is a highly popular Andyson Power design. The components are a little cramped inside such a tight space and the heatsinks are thin but good.

The filtering stage of this power supply is good, consisting of four Y-type capacitors, two X-type capacitors, two ferrite coils and a surge suppressing MOV.

The primary rectifier is sandwiched between two heatsinks as it is mounted on the large heatsink and has a smaller and much simpler heatsink mounted on it. One Matsushita 420V/560μF capacitor rated at 105°C can be seen at the primary side of the power supply. Every single of the secondary side capacitors is made by Teapo.
