If any gaming franchise deserves to have its own line of shoes, it would be Metal Gear Solid, and the shoemaker PUMA agrees.
The Konami Japanese store will start selling some spiffy-looking Metal Gear Solid shoes for 20,000 yen apiece (roughly $195). In addition to the stealthy shoes, the store is also offering some track jackets, one in camo and the other in dark grey ($147 apiece). The artwork for the shoes and jacket were designed by Yoji Shinkawa, and then put into wearable forms by PUMA.
Hideo Kojima, the main man behind the Metal Gear Solid madness, took to twitter today to promote the new line of shoes and jackets.
I’ve been true loyal & wearing PUMA shoes for last 10 years. Assure u the quality of our collab w PUMA.

Fans of the Metal Gear Solid franchise will definitely see some value in the gears as they will complement the upcoming title Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes quite nicely.
