Razer is at E3 2006 to promote several new high-end gaming peripherals that are aimed specifically for gamers. DailyTech was shown a quick demo of the Barracuda Integrated Audio System, the Tarantula gaming keyboard and acid green Diamondback gaming mouse. Razer’s main competitors before the branch into gaming headphones and sound cards was mainly Logitech and Saitek. Now that the company is offering other gaming-related items, the company will now have to compete with the likes of Creative and a wider range of other competitors.

“Barracuda and Tarantula represent Razer’s first expansion beyond the high-quality gaming mice and mouse pads for which it’s become known, and the acid green Diamondback signifies the company’s continuing commitment to its gaming mice line,” says Robert Krakoff, president, Razer USA. “We’ve answered the gamers cry for other high-quality, high-performance peripherals and no one will be disappointed.”

Razer emphasized how important it is for gamers to test out Razer products and give the company feedback about what was liked and disliked about the products. After having the opportunity to review previous Razer products, one hopes that Razer continues to use the same care and precision in all of its products.
