Report: ASUS Power User Gathering, 21 May

ASUS held a Power User Gathering for enthusiasts last Saturday, 21 May. Motherboard specialist Jack Cheng flew all the way from Taiwan to provide first-hand answers to enthusiasts' queries. Three lucky participants even got to walk away with a ASUS P8Z68-V PRO motherboard each! Pictures after the jump.

Last Saturday, ASUS held a Power Users Gathering at MindCafe, Funan IT Mall, Singapore. The event gave enthusiasts a chance to have their burning questions on ASUS motherboards answered directly on the spot.

The event started off with a mini tea session. Shortly after, Business Development Manager Desmond Soh conducted a presentation on the features of ASUS' latest Z68 motherboards.

Jack Cheng, ASUS motherboard specialist, then shared on the various design aspects of ASUS motherboards. He demonstrated the benefits of Intel's Smart Response Techonology and Lucid Virtu on the ASUS P8Z68-V PRO motherboard.

Enthusiasts were then given a chance ask as many questions as they wanted. The questions came fast and furious, on topics ranging from the use of PCIe bridges to the effectiveness of Thermal Armor. Jack Cheng gamely answered all queries in detail, and promised to channel feedback to the motherboard design team.
