Research In Motion Announces BlackBerry Curve 3G in Singapore

The new BlackBerry Curve 3G is slightly smaller than the Bold 9700 and it is the first in the Curve series to support 3G. It has the full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.4-inch display (320×240 pixel resolution).

On the right are the volume control and user-configurable quick access buttons, which feel like rubberized bumps.

On the left holds the 3.5mm audio jack, mini USB connector and a second user-configurable quick access button.

Here’s a quick look at the profile of the BlackBerry Curve 3G. According to RIM, the smartphone will ship with BlackBerry OS version 5, though it is BlackBerry OS 6 ready.
