The HP Pavilion dv2 is the manufacturer's first notebook PC that comes with AMD Athlon Neo processor. Let's see how well it fares in our review.

The HP Pavilion dv2 sports an attractive glossy black finish which is also at the bezel and palm rests when you opened up the notebook PC. The 12.1-inch display supports 1280x800 pixel resolution - more than sufficient to view 720p high definition movies. Above the display is the HP webcam with integrated microphone.

While the keyboard is not 'chiclet' designed, the keys are large enough to type comfortably. We noticed the touchpad with buttons has a reflective and polished finish which is unique from the typical opaque ones.

On the left holds the RJ-45 Ethernet connector, VGA output, HDMI and two USB ports.

The power switch, Wi-Fi button, card reader (that supports SD, MS, MS Pro, MMC and xD-Picture), microphone in, headphone out, and a third USB port are on the right of the dv2.
