Rockstar and West Coast Customs create real-life version of Grand Theft Auto ‘Banshee’ supercar
I don’t know about you, but the Banshee has always been my favorite virtual sports car from the Grand Theft Auto series. Now, thanks to a partnership between developer Rockstar and West Coast Customs, it just might be possible to drive it in real life.
The real life version of the ‘Bravado Banshee’ is based on the latest model used in-game in Grand Theft Auto V. Since it is a one of a kind vehicle, West Coast Customs had to machine and cut each part of the exterior design piece-by-piece. It was all then fitted together by hand to ensure it looked like it was taken straight from the source material. The same amount of detailed, custom work was required for the extraordinary custom interior pictured below.
Rockstar says this is a tribute to the deep vehicle customization options available in Grand Theft Auto V, which launches on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17.

For now, this Banshee is not available for purchase. The only way to get it is to enter GameStop US’ Power Rewards ‘Epic Rewards’ Giveaway, and hope you get selected. I’m sure Rockstar could have earned a good profit from it if they would put it up for sale themselves. It would’ve costed less buying it directly from them, compared to the price its lucky owner will eventually set on eBay a few months from now.
