Rodent On Fire! Cooler Master CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse Review
Ready for a fiery and blazingly fast ride with the 4000 DPI CM Storm Inferno gaming mouse? Join us as we check out this new device from Cooler Master’s gaming division!
Cooler Master is best known for their computer chassis, cooling solutions, and power supplies. However, they do have a gaming department focussing on the gaming market with cool chassis designs and gaming peripherals under the CM Storm branding. In our recent news posting, we mentioned that Cooler Master has unleashed the CM Storm Inferno gaming mouse (model code SGM-4000-KLLN1-GP). Now, VR-Zone.com managed to catch one of these fiery rodents over the weekend and put it to the test.
Packaging & Unboxing
The outer packaging on the Inferno is dressed in black and fiery red.
The back of the box lists the specifications of the mouse.
Lifting the flap held by two velcro dots, we are greeted by the CM Storm Inferno mouse, and even more information.
The main features of this mouse are detailed on the other side of the flap:
• Superior Gaming-grade Precision
• Onboard Sentinel-X TM 128KB microprocessor
• Advanced Storm MacroPro TM key
• Rapid Fire Tactical TM Key
• Storm Tactics TM Multiplier Key
Later on, we shall check out how these features and specifications would come into play.
Emptying the box, we found ourselves with just the mouse and a disc, which contains both the drivers and the manual. Cooler Master has spared Mother Nature by opting for an e-manual instead of a printed one.
