 Samsung announces Series 5 ULTRA notebooks and Series 7 Smart Station Monitors

The 27-inch Samsung Series 7 Smart Station is part high definition monitor and part wireless docking station, and it can integrate with mobile devices in addition to laptops, peripherals, network and AV. You can link and playback your content on the monitor from your Android Mobile High Definition Link (MHL) compatible smartphone. The Series 7 Smart Station also comes with three USB ports (two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0), HDMI input and audio out, and will be available in March 2012.

Designed for personal and home users, the Samsung ML-2165 monochrome laser printer series (middle in above pic) claim to offer maximized functionality including mobile and wireless printing features. It has a compact design which is 22% smaller than other 150-sheet A4 laser printers, and boasts 20 page per minute print speed. The ML-2165 also offers Wi-Fi Direct feature which makes it possible to connect directly from Wi-Fi Direct enabled mobile devices, such as the Galaxy S II Android smartphone. The Samsung ML-2165 (with wireless 802.11b/g/n and 8MB memory) and ML-2165W (with 32MB memory, but no wireless interface) are selling at S$138 and S$168 in February.

The Samsung SCX-3400 multi-function printer series are equipped with Samsung's Easy Eco Drive solution which provides custom settings to manage and control printing costs. With Easy Printer Manager, you can have easy real-time monitoring of the MFP usage and statistics on printer maintenance, and through Multi-Device Monitoring, device can be controlled remotely in an office environment. The SCX-3400 series is powered by 433MHz core processor, up to 128MB memory, with print speed of up to 20 A4 pages per minute, and will be available from February 2012 from S$218.
