Samsung announces Star II for superb social networking experience
Based on the success of the Samsung Star, the manufacturer has unveiled the phone's successor, Star II which is designed to provide superior social networking experience for users anytime, anywhere.
Samsung has announced the Star II, the successor to the 30-million selling Samsung Star phone. Designed to deliver superior mobile social networking experience, the Samsung Star II claims to integrate a user's social life in one device and providing constant connection to friends and family.
It features a personalized user-interface with full-touch display for easy-to-use and intuitive experience. With Samsung's Social Hub, users can choose the way they want to interact with friends and family, with access available to all of their social media accounts within the same interface.
Incorporating Samsung's TouchWiz 3.0 user interface, users can personalize their home screens the way they want. Upgraded features like QuickType by t9 Trace also offers a faster and easier way to input text than standard texting. On the hardware side, the Samsung Star II is equipped with a built-in 3.2-megapixel camera, 3-inch WQVGA display and supports WiFi connectivity.
The Samsung Star II will be available from February in Germany followed by other European countries, CIS, South America, India and Middle East. No pricing information available at press time.
