This afternoon, Samsung Singapore introduced the new range of Digital Audio Visual (DAV) products at their showroom in Vivocity. The products are designed to provide full 3D home entertainment experience, in addition to their Full HD 3D LED TVs which were in stores since April.
Samsung introduced the new wall mountable BD-C7500 Blu-ray player that features built-in Wi-Fi support and Internet@
The Internet@TV allows consumers to access the Samsung App store and install the apps and games that they want.

SINGAPORE – June 23, 2010 – Samsung has launched its latest range of Digital Audio Visual (DAV) products to take consumers’ audio experiences to the next level. Key innovations include a 3D Home Theater System, the Samsung HT-C6950W, and the world’s first 3D Blu-ray player, the Samsung BD-C6900. These products complement Samsung’s latest 3D TVs, reinforcing the company’s commitment to provide consumers with a full 3D home entertainment ecosystem.
Samsung HT-C6950W Home Theatre System
Designed for the premium user who demands the ultimate home entertainment experience, the HT-C6950W is equipped with the Intelligent Power function to accurately match audio output and input to remove distortion. It also features Samsung’s unique Crystal Amplifier Pro technology, 7.1-channel surround sound and Dolby Prologic IIz for crystal-clear sound. In addition, the HT-C6950W also delivers unique vertical surround sound for richer sound quality and a true 360-degree audio experience.
Viewing digital multimedia content from various sources is a breeze with the HT-C6950W’s wireless connections. The Wireless LAN Adapter allows users to view multimedia easily on the TV while content from other devices can be viewed with Samsung’s AllShare feature with DLNA connectivity.
The HT-C6950W is now available at a recommended retail price of S$1,799.
Samsung BD-C7500 and BD-C6900 Blu-ray Players
The BD-C7500 and BD-C6900 (above pic) are equipped with Samsung’s Ultra-Fast Play, with quick boot-up and loading times, reducing the waiting time for users.
Viewing pleasure is increased with the Samsung Full Screen feature, which is able to remove the top black bars from the 16:9 format and the side black bars from the 21:9 format, giving users a cinematic experience. In addition, both Blu-ray players also provide DVD up-scaling allowing users to watch content in Full HD 1080P format for sharper imaging.
The Samsung BD-C7500 and the Samsung BD-C6900 are available now at recommended retail prices of S$799 and S$499 respectively.
Samsung HT-BD8200 and HW-C450 Soundbars
The Samsung HT-BD8200 (above pic) and the HW-C450 come with a 300W and 280W system respectively, coupled with a wireless sub-woofer to provide users with pristine sound as part of the home entertainment unit.
The HT-BD8200 makes accessing content from a multitude of devices convenient with its Anynet+ feature that allows users to use a single remote to operate multiple supported HDMI devices. Both soundbars are beautifully crafted with Samsung’s Touch of Colour design to blend seamlessly with any home and can be easily mounted on the wall with a single optical cable.
