Samsung Expands Bada Smartphone With Wave II

Based on the company's proprietary Bada open platform, the Samsung Wave was first announced in February and launched in Singapore in May. And not long ago, the Korean maker announced the Wave II (model: GT-S8530) that is based on the latest Bada 1.2.

Samsung has announced their latest Samsung Wave II (model : GT-S8530) based on bada 1.2, the latest edition of the company’s open platform. Designed to enable superior user-experience, the Wave II features a large 3.7-inch enhanced TFT-LCD screen that provides a stunning viewing experience. It supports multiple video formats and high definition video recording.

Installed with the Social Hub, users can view their phonebook, SNS, Instant Message and email together in an integrated one-page layout. You can easily access  the Samsung Apps with the Samsung Wave II to access compelling and entertaining applications and services.

The full touchscreen smartphone will be available in November 2010 in France and will be gradually rolled out to other global markets including Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East Asia, Africa, India and China. No pricing information at press time.
