The Samsung Galaxy Ace, which probably isn’t the finalized name, is the latest Android smartphone to be uncovered. Interestingly, the phone is seen on a MXPhone, a Thai website. According to online sources, the Samsung S5830, or Galaxy Ace, or also known as Galaxy Cooper or Galaxy S Mini, is expected to be announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, next month.
From the Thai website, the Galaxy Ace is reported to measure 112.4 x 59.9 x 11.5mm, weighs 113g, has a 3.5-inch display (480×320 pixel resolution) and runs Android 2.2 Froyo. Other features include DLNA, HSDPA (7.2 Mbps), EDGE/GPRS, WiFi, A-GPS, along with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM with RDS, 150MB internal storage and microSD card slot and 1350 mAh lithium-ion battery. Price? The Samsung Galaxy Ace is said to retail at 10,900 Thai bahts, or approximately US$360.
