Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A gets unboxed, Snapdragon 800 core inside
Yet another variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4 gets revealed. Unlike the others, this one comes in the same dimensions and specifications save for one little aspect, the chipset.
Samsung’s unannounced Galaxy S4 LTE-A (A for Advanced) version gets treated to a full unboxing that reveals an unaltered design with the same look and feel, same features and almost the same internals (save for the chipset), much unlike the previous variants of the Galaxy S4 that we’ve seen so far(S4 Mini, S4 Zoom, S4 Active…)
The device, carrying a model number SHV-E330S, will first be launched in Samsung’s home country Korea to take advantage of the new LTE Advanced network, promising a 150 Mbps fast network (US 4G/LTE users burn in jealousy).
Samsung’s new Galaxy S4 variant packs the same specifications, except that the core ticking away at the heart of the Smartphone is a different beast. Say hello to the fastest mobile ARM SoC unveiled just a couple of days ago, the Qualcomm Snapdragon S800 SoC featuring four Krait 400 cores and the 50% faster Adreno 330 GPU. The device will be offered in two colors, Arctic Blue and Aurora Red.
