Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 gets outed, coming next month
SamMobile has posted the final and complete specifications for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 tablet which is scheduled to launch next month, June 2013.
SamMobile has the final specifications of the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 with them, and at first glance, it looks completely legit. As you might have guessed earlier, the new Tab 3 is an 8.0 inch mid-range tablet positioned above the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and lower than the Galaxy Note 8.0 (these names are seriously starting to make a mess here).
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Specifications
We have in tow a not-so-high resolution WXGA display (we were really hoping for an improvement in this front, perhaps the next Note 8.0?) and a 1.5 GHz dual core CPU. RAM is 1.5 GB, which we find is a tad odd. Just like all other Galaxy devices, the new Tab 3 8.0 will come with a MicroSD card slot which supports SDXC cards for up to 64 GB of expandable storage.
A 5 MP camera is quite a big sensor for a tablet, but then again multimedia push is strong across all categories of devices, and that means almost all devices get treated with new features, whether they are really necessary or not. It's nice to see that Samsung pushes out products with the latest version of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and the upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is no exception at that. Of course, you can expect it to be all decked up with TouchWIZ (the same version as Samsung's flagship Galaxy S4).
Yep, they all look the same!
If you're smitten by this device already, then you'll have to hold your horses, as Samsung isn't expected to launch their new tablet until the end of next month, i.e. June 2013.
