Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 to pack WXGA display and Android 4.2.2

After the unveiling of Samsung's third gen entry level Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, it is time to spill some news related to the higher end and much more premium Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 with (you guessed it right!) an 8 inch display and dual core processor onboard.

It seems that Samsung's upcoming high end Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 has been spotted at GLBenchmark scores database. Listed as the Samsung SM-T311, the upcoming premium device sports the latest (and greatest) Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean flavor along with a high resolution WXGA display.

The Tab 3 8.0 packs the same resolution display as the Galaxy Note 8.0 giving the display a rather uninspiring pixel density of 189 ppi. We really were hoping for something better here, perhaps some other device then? According to a leaked timeline by SamMobile, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 should launch with 16 GB of storage and Wi-Fi around June, with a 3G model to be introduced shortly after. Both models will be painted white. GSMArena reports that a Tab 3 10.1 is also expected at around the same time.
