After reporting a leaked image only yesterday, Samsung goes official with their budget Galaxy Ace 3 Smartphone.

As expected, Samsung went official with their Galaxy Ace 3 (we just weren’t sure of the date), confirming the existence of this budget oriented Android Smartphone. Before anything else, have a look at the complete specifications:

Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 specifications:

  • 1.0 (3G) / 1.2 (LTE) GHz Dual-Core CPU
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 4.0-inch WVGA (800 x 480) TFT LCD Display
  • 5 MP Rear Camera With LED Flash
  • VGA Front Camera
  • 4 GB (3G) / 8 GB (LTE) Internal Storage
  • Micro SD Card (Up To 64 GB)
  • 1500 (3G) / 1800 (LTE) Li-Ion mAh Battery
  • 121.2 × 62.7 × 9.8 (3G) / 10(LTE) mm
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Samsung will release multiple variants of the Galaxy Ace 3, with and without LTE as well as one with dual SIM slots (which is MIA today). The LTE model has been blessed with a marginally faster CPU, double the internal storage capacity and a slightly increased battery capacity. Almost everything else should remain the same between all variants.

Software features:
  • ‘S Translator’: Gives instantaneous translations at any time
  • ‘S Travel’: Provides guides and travel information for your next trip
  • ‘Smart Stay’: Recognizes when a user is looking at the phone, and saves battery life when a user looks away by
dimming the screen and powering down using advanced facial recognition
  • ‘S Voice’: Offers voice command functionality
  • ‘Easy Mode’: Brings a simple and intuitive homescreen mode for streamlined access to your top functions

As with all capable Galaxy phones, the Ace 3 will come pre-installed with Samsung exclusive apps such as S Voice, S Translator, Smart Stay and the likes, further enhancing the profile of this budget device. Sadly, there is no official word on pricing and market availability yet, but we expect the Ace 3 to hit stores pretty soon (and hopefully with an affordable price tag as well).
