Samsung Introduced 7 New Portable Gadgets

Samsung has introduced seven new gadgets that could be the perfect gifts for the upcoming Father’s Day. They include the Samsung C10 digital camcorder, WB550 compact camera, Story Station and S2 external HDD, SPF-87H and SPF-107H LED digital photo frames and U5 MP3 player.

SINGAPORE, 26 May 2009 – Samsung Electronics today introduced seven new portable gadgets which make perfect gifts for fathers who love capturing, keeping and flaunting their favourite family moments and memories.

Samsung C10 Digital Camcorder

The C10 compact digital camcorder is designed with the style conscious mobile user in mind. It features a long battery life, 2.7-inch wide LCD screen and 10x optical zoom paired with a Hyper Image Stabilisation to help reduce blurry images.
 
The C10 incorporates many mobile features such as Samsung’s play-edit sharing programme, the Samsung Intelli studio. The feature allows users to easily hook up the camcorder to any computer via a USB port without having to install any software when editing content.

The Samsung C10 compact digital camcorder is now available in crystal red and green versions at a recommended retail price of SGD399.

Samsung WB550 Compact Camera

For the professional photographers on-the-go, the 12.2-megapixel Samsung WB550 has a 24mm ultra-wide Schneider lens and 10x optical zoom to offer unprecedented flexibility to fit more of the desired scene at a distance into any shot, while remaining compact enough to fit neatly into any pocket.
 
It features a 3-inch LCD screen and incorporates the Smart Scene Recognition function which automatically select the optimised settings for the situation. The WB550 also offers HDMI connectivity, which allows the camera to be connected directly to a HDTV to enjoy ones’ photos and video in HD clarity.
 
The Samsung WB550 is available now in black and grey at a recommended retail price of SGD649 with 8GB memory card.

Samsung SPF-87H and SPF-107H LED Photo Frames

Samsung’s newest line of Digital Photo Frames allows users to store their most precious memories with 1GB of storage capacity. The SPF-87H is an 8-inch photo frame while the SPF-107H is 10-inches. With an ultra slim design at 23mm, the sleek, glossy frame and high resolution screen is a new way of showcasing your family photos.
 
Both the SPF-87H and the SPF-107H boasts several features which make it an appealing device to display and store images. The Various Emotional Slideshow mode allows users to display single and multiple photos. In addition the slide transition effects and the ability to toggle to another slide with a single touch, enabling easier viewing while enhancing the overall user experience. Both models can also act as a second monitor by simply connecting it to a computer with a USB cable. The SPF-87H is especially portable with its USB power supply and does not require a bulky adaptor when connected to a PC.
