Samsung Korea Unveils SNE-50K e-book reader
With the increasing popularity of Amazon's Kindle, it is no wonder Samsung has also jumped into the e-book reader wagon. The Korean manufacturer has unveiled their latest SNE-50K which comes with 5-inch touchscreen display and integrated 512MB memory.
With this Samsung SNE-50K e-book reader, you can read your document and ebooks as well as take notes by writing on it.
Weighing 200g and having a mere 9mm thickness, the SNE-50K offers a 5-inch touchscreen display (600x800 resolution), integrated 512MB memory and supports Power Point, Excel, Word, PDF files, and BMP images. It also has a battery life for 4,230 continuous page views.
The manufacturer has partnered Kyobo Bookstore to market the SNE-50K in Korea, and there's no word if the product will be made available worldwide. The Samsung SNE-50K e-book reader is priced at 339,000 won (approx. US$270).
