Yes, the rumor of a leaked Samsung camera is true as VR-Zone was invited to Hong Kong to attend the launch of the Samsung NX100 mirrorless camera at the Intercontinental Hotel ballroom this afternoon.
Sang Jin Park, President of Samsung Digital Imaging Division, Samsung Electronics, gave an opening speech and announces the launch of the new NX100.
“Currently, the digital camera market is changing rapidly. Traditionally, the market structure has been divided to just two sectors – compact and digital SLR cameras. However, a new category that truly satisfy consumers’ needs is developing, and becoming an important part of this market. This is the mirrorless interchangeable lens camera sector. The Samsung mirrorless camera combine the high quality of the dSLR models with the usability and the portability of a compact camera. This is one area that has been left unexplored until now,” says Park.
Ben Halcomb, NX Specialist, Digital Imaging Product Manager of Samsung Australia, introduced the various features of the NX100 including the design, i-Function lens and the camera accessories.
Hong Kong model, Gaile Lai, also went on stage to share her superb experience with the Samsung NX100.
