Samsung officially launches 3D TVs for sale in Singapore


Today, Samsung officially launched C7000 3D LED TV for retail in Singapore in a media event at Courts Megastore. Touted as the first HD 3D LED TV for consumers in the region, it is available immediately for sale at authorized shops.

Samsung unveiled their new C7000 3D, LED-backlit HDTV at Courts Megastore on 9 April, 2010, and Mr. Moon Sung-Hyun, Managing Director of Samsung Electronics, was present at the event to introduce the C7000 3D TV.

“I’m sure it (the TVs) will make all our customers in Singapore happy,” he said in his speech while describing the C7000 3D HDTV.

Also present at the launch event was Mr Terry O’Connor, CEO of Courts (Singapore) Pte Ltd,who described the business relationship between both samsung and Courts.

“Samsung is our partner and our biggest supplier, and is a great technology brand that brings technology to consumers,” he said.

The C7000 3D HDTV are immediately available for sale at Courts and come in three different sizes: 40″, 46″ and 55″ at S$3,999, S$4,999 and S$6,499 respectively.
