A barrage of slider Android phones seem to be hitting consumers, and until people forsaken the QWERTY hard keypad like they did BlackBerrys, these slider devices will remain a part of manufacturers' to-do list.

A barrage of slider Android phones seem to be hitting consumers, and until people forsaken the QWERTY hard keypad like they did the BlackBerry, these slider devices will remain a part of manufacturer’s to-do list.

T-Mobile and Samsung is working together to deliver the SGH-T699-an ICS slider device boasting a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (not known if it’s an S3 or S4).

Tmonews.com has confirmed that the SGH-T699 will have a 5 MP rear camera, Snapdragon processor, and Android ICS 4.0.4 out of the box.  If T-Mobile is trying to bring back the “Sidekick” in a refined package, then the SGH-T699 may just do the job.

People that are still using a T-Mobile Sidekick may have a reason to upgrade to an Android device now.  Although, I doubt many people hung onto their nifty slider phone from the mid 2000’s.
