Samsung has announced their new SH100 a compact Wi-Fi-enabled camera that claims to deliver good quality shots that you can share with your friends and family, wherever you are.

Aside from connecting to the Internet for photo sharing, users can also use the Wi-Fi function to connect to their Android-powered Galaxy S smartphone. This allows you to use your phone as a real-time viewfinder. You can also zoom in and out to get the best picture, and then activate the shutter remotely. In addition, you can also use your smartphone’s GPS to record exactly where you were when you captured the pictures.

Another use of the SH100’s built in Wi-Fi is automatically back up your pictures to your PC, or use DLNA to hook up to your HDTV and see your photos and videos instantly. The camera can record high definition (HD) video and you can choose to upload the videos to video sites such as YouTube.
