Samsung was the first to bring 3D LED TVs to the retail stores in Singapore, and today, the Korean manufacturer has announced the launch of their new Series 7000 Plasma 3D TV to complement the LED TV counterparts.
Today, Samsung officially launches their Series 7000 Plasma 3D TVs in Singapore. Featuring a black metallic finish and crystal TV design, the ultra-slim TV is equipped with various immersive viewing and image enhancing tehcnologies to provide brilliant display quality for the consumers. It features High-Definition (HD) 3D Processing and Internet@TV connectivity, and proprietary 2D-to-3D engine that is capable of processing and converting regular broadcast TV, gaming content and legacy DVDs into 3D in real time.
The Samsung Series 7 Plasma 3D TV is now available in 50-, 58- and 63-inch models at recommended retail prices of S$5,499, S$6,999, S$7,499 respectively.
To allow Singapore consumers to enjoy the full 3D home entertainment ecosystem, Samsung has also introduced a Samsung 3D promotion bundle for consumers who purchase the Samsung Series 7 Plasma 3D TV. The bundle includes the world’s first 3D Blu-ray player, the Samsung BD-C6900 (worth S$799), as well as two pairs of adult-sized Samsung 3D active shutter glasses and a limited edition 3D Blu-ray disc, Monsters versus Aliens, from DreamWorks Animation (worth S$399).
