Like its name implies, the Samsung Star TV features Mobile TV for users to enjoy news and entertaining programmes. You can also choose to record the TV programmes for later viewing. From the picture, it has a retractable antenna which is probably an analogue TV receiver, though it is doubtful that the TV reception would be good over the air. The phone doesn't support TV output either.

Other features of the Samsung Star TV include 3-inch WQVGA TFT LCD touch screen (240x400 resolution), 3.2-Megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, 100MB memory, microSD card supports 8GB, Bluetooth and USB storage.

No word on the pricing though, but the Samsung Star was retailing at S$398 (without contract) when it was launched. So its a rough gauge that the new Samsung Star TV would be around that price or slightly more.
